Our 7th release and our first time filling PX octave casks that previously held peated whisky as their first fill, and in this case the peated whisky was Loch Lomand Inchfad.
The PX cask and peated first fill have had a pretty big effect on the whisky
Tasting notes
Nose: Big hits of PX, dried dark decadent fruits and a hint of smoke/burnt leather
Palate: more dried fruit, dark fruits, smoke and a subtle sweetness from the PX
Finish: alcohol warmth, smoke
