Cask W046 is a Tawny Port cask that has been filled with 224L of our peated new make spirit at 59.6% abv. The new make spirit has been made from a blend of peated malt produced at the distillery using Somerset peat and Maris Otter distilling malt. It has been mash, fermented, double pot distilled in direct fired copper pot stills in Somerset, it will be aged and bottle in Somerset.

You are purchasing 1 x 70cl of spirit from this cask, the cask was laid down on the 23rd Feb 2024 and will be bottled at just over 3 years of age and will be bottled at approx 50-54% abv.

The of this pre sale is £45 and is for the purchase of the spirit only, it will be stored duty suspended in our warehouse. Upon bottling and before dispatch you will need to pay the duty, bottling fee and VAT on the whole amount. This amount will be invoiced separately and will need to be paid via bank transfer before the bottle is released from the duty warehouse.

Currently the total cost would be made up of £40 (spirit), £12.39 (duty based on 54% abv and duty rate of £32.79), bottling fee of £3.50 and vat of £11.18 (Vat rate 20%) giving a total of £67. please note duty and VAT may well in crease as well.

Please also note that VAT may not be due on the spirit as you are purchasing new make spirit which has then changed product type to whisky in duty suspension - we are waiting for confirmation on this from HMRC.

We are expecting to bottle around 300 bottles from this cask are are looking to pre sell 40 bottles only to Founders and Club Retribution Members.
